Lilly Sutton, M.S.
I’m Lilly Sutton, teacher, coach, and founder of Appalachian Health and Healing. My work integrates the Alexander Technique, mindfulness, guided meditation, hypnosis, and my own wholistic methods to help you use your mind-body connection more fully, more effectively, and more enjoyably.
My multi-level approach forms a unique healing method, a method that addresses what is meaningful to you, that helps you to move forward and live the life you want to live.
While I do share helpful concepts, I believe that experience is the best teacher. Real learning, deep and long-lasting change, comes, not from logical information, but from your own experience. You don't learn to ride a bicycle from reading about the history of transportation!
Rather than advising someone how to think or what to do, I aim to create an experience in which clients can find their own answers, achieve their own “aha” moments.
We’re all just walking each other home.
Because I use a wholistic approach, the potential benefits are broad and wide-ranging. Sessions can simultaneously help you feel better, think better, act better, and even look better!
What kinds of things would we work with in a session? Clients have come for help with physical pain, stress, anxiety or low moods. Others want help coping with a major challenge such as cancer, grieving a loved one. Some need support during a major life transition, such a divorce or career change. And others just want to feel better function more effectively, such as musicians, public speakers, business leaders, and writers who come for performance coaching,
